Hong Kong is an autonomous territory on the southern coast of China at the Pearl River Estuary and the South China Sea. Coron, officially the Municipality of Coron, is a 1st class municipality in the province of Palawan, Philippines. It comprises the eastern half of Busuanga Island, all of Coron Island and about 50 other minor islets stretching as far as Tara Island in the north-east and Canipo Island in the south. All these islands are part of the Calamian Archipelago in Northern Palawan that separates the South China Sea from the Sulu Sea. The main population center of the municipality is composed of Poblacion barangays 1 to 6, where the Municipal Building, the Municipal Legislative Building, and the Judicial Hall of the Municipal Circuit Trial Court are located. Its fiesta is held annually on August 28 in honor of Saint Augustine. It is the commercial capital of the Calamian Islands. The municipality is home to the Coron Island Natural Biotic Area, which is listed in the natural category of the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List.

Puerto Princesa is the capital of the island province of Palawan, southwest of Manila, Philippines. Puerto Princesa is a nature lover's paradise. Its coastline with white sanded beaches, coves and bays creates a scenic contrast to the lush green vegetation and the emerald waters. Puerto Princesa has a variety of attractions to offer. Travellers should visit Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, the longest navigable underground river that winds through a spectacular cave before emptying into the South China Sea.

Kota Kinabalu is the capital of the state of Sabah, a mountainous area with lush tropical rainforests, in the eastern part of North Borneo in Malaysia. Kota Kinabalu is located on the northwest coast of Borneo facing the South China Sea. There are six islands off the coast of the city. Kota Kinabalu is a popular gateway for those visiting Sabah and Borneo. Muara is a town in the Brunei and Muara  district, Brunei. It contains the country's only deep-water port. Muara is the Malay word for estuary. Muara Town or Pekan Muara is located in Mukim Serasa and is located on the easternmost tip of West Brunei. It lends its name to the district which it is in, the Brunei-Muara district. To the North is the South China Sea, to the south the Brunei Bay and across the bay, Pulau Muara Besar. To the east, across a man-made channel is the remains of Tanjung Pelumpong (Cape Pelumpong), now an island. To the west is the rest of the Brunei-Muara district. Serasa lies to the south-west of Muara. The main attraction of Pekan Muara is Muara beach (Pantai Muara in Malay) along South China Sea. The beach is about a mile long and consists of clear white sand. Amenities here include a well-equipped picnic area, a children’s playground, changing and toilet facilities, as well as weekend food and drink stalls.

Koh Samui is Thailand's second-largest island, located south of Bangkok in the Gulf of Thailand. It is the most significant island in the Chumphon Archipelago and is surrounded by approximately sixty other islands. Although Koh Samui is an extremely popular tourist destination, it has retained its simplicity and its laid-back character. The main attractions of the island are the beautiful beaches and the abundant temples. Visit the Kunamar Temple where the mummified body of a local monk is on display.
