Darwin is a small yet cosmopolitan city on the Timor Sea, a branch of the Indian Ocean, in north-central Australia. Darwin has a relaxed lifestyle and unique multiculturalism. It’s an excellent base to explore the natural attractions of Australia's Kakadu and Nitmiluk National Parks. It’s worth visiting the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory where the great Aboriginal art is on display.

Ambon Island is part of the Maluku Islands of Indonesia. The island has an area of 775 km² (299 sq mi) and is mountainous, well-watered, and fertile. Ambon Island consists of two territories - the city of Ambon to the south and various districts (kecamatan) of the Central Maluku Regency to the north. 

Kailua is the start and finish of the annual Ironman World Championship triathlon, the annual Kona Coffee Festival, and the Hawaiian International Billfish Tournament. Kona coffee is the variety of Coffea arabica cultivated on the slopes of Hualālai and Mauna Loa in the North and South Kona Districts.

Rabaul is on the Gazelle Peninsular in the northeast of the island of New Britain, in Papua New Guinea, an island nation in Oceania. Quite recently the nearby volcano Tavurvur erupted and Rabaul was nearly destroyed. Rabaul has a spectacular harbor and is a tourist destination famous for its scuba diving sites. It is also a place of historic significance because of its engagement in both world wars.

The National Museum, located opposite the Mendana Hotel, has exhibits of traditional handicrafts and historical artefacts, particularly exhibits on archaeology, currencies, arms, languages, personal ornaments, traditional music and dance, agricultural implements, life and natural environs of the country, fishing tools and tackles, and many publications and handicrafts. The Cultural Centre of the museum has a display of eight traditional houses, built in 1981, from the nine provinces of Solomon Islands. The museum hosted the first Melanesian Arts and Crafts festival in 1998, and also organizes dances on the festival stage opposite the museum. There is also a Japanese howitzer on display between the museum and the police station, which is called "Pistol Pete". It was used for bombarding the Henderson Airfield during the Guadalcanal fighting. On the opposite side of the police station is the Central Bank, which has a display of traditional currency. It also has some exquisite Rennellese wood carvings and paintings. The Cultural Centre behind the museum has exhibits of several traditional architectural styles. The National Art Gallery arranges painting exhibitions at the Old Government House, the former residence of the Governor General. A large collection of historical importance can be seen at the National Archives which is open to the public.

Lautoka is located in the west of the island of Viti Levu, the largest island in the Republic of Fiji. Lautoka lies in the heart of Fiji's sugar cane growing region and it is known as the Sugar City. The scenery around the city is stunning, with high mountains, lush vegetation, crystal clear waters, and pristine white-sand beaches. 

Vavaʻu is the island group of one large island (ʻUtu Vavaʻu) and 40 smaller ones in Tonga. It is part of Vavaʻu District which includes several other individual islands. According to tradition the Maui god fished up both Tongatapu and Vavaʻu but put a little more effort into the former. Vavaʻu rises 204 metres (669 ft) above sea level at Mount Talau. The capital is Neiafu, which is the fifth largest city in Tonga, situated at the Port of Refuge (Puatalefusi or Lolo-ʻa-Halaevalu).

Apia is the capital city of Samoa, an island nation in the South Pacific Ocean, halfway between Hawaii and New Zealand. Apia is located on the north side of the island of Upolu. The island is a tropical tourist destination with breathtaking sights and natural wonders. The Museum of Samoa highlights the history of the island through artifacts and sculptures crafted centuries ago. Visitors can enjoy water parks, casinos, day tours and attractions and buy unique souvenirs such as handcrafted sculptures, jewelry and woodcarvings

Huahine is an island located among the Society Islands, in French Polynesia, in the Pacific Ocean. One of the famous attractions on Huahine is a bridge that crosses over a stream with eels. Local mythology considers these eels to be sacred. You can also visit the Fa'ahia archaeological site in the north of the island where fossil remains of several species of extinct birds have been revealed.

Papeete is the capital of French Polynesia, in the Pacific Ocean. The city is located on the island of Tahiti. It is not the typical tropical paradise but more of an industrial port and a very busy town center with heavy traffic. The French and Polynesian charm is present in small doses. 

Fakarava is an atoll in the west of the Tuamotu islands, in French Polynesia. Fakarava has a wide and deep lagoon with two passes. The main pass to enter the lagoon, located in its north-western end, is known as Passe Garuae. It is the ideal place to enjoy swimming and scuba diving.

The complex consists of 4 volcanic islands, the Pitcairn (the only inhabited), Oeno, Henderson, and Ducie, which are long distances to each other. It is the most isolated occupation of Britain. Tourism accounts for 80% of the annual income of each Pitcher. Since 2009, the island's government has favored tourism especially through the implementation of the MV Claymore II program, which provides tourists with an opportunity for adventurous holidays on the islands for three or ten days. Already some families have invested in private independent units for rent for tourists. Each year about ten cruise ships arrive on the island for a few hours, boosting the locals economically by buying souvenirs, stamps and local products. For safety reasons, children under the age of 16 need a complete application form to visit the island.

Easter Island is an island of Polynesia. It is located in the Pacific Ocean and is a province of Chile. It is considered to be the most isolated island in the world. The island has great archaeological interest due to the presence of buildings and monuments which are assigned to native inhabitants of earlier eras. Among them, stand out the giant stone statues, or moai, which depict ancient gods .The National Park of the island has been designated an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
