Hong Kong is an autonomous territory on the southern coast of China at the Pearl River Estuary and the South China Sea. Hong Kong is one of the world's most densely populated metropolises and most vertical cities. It is known for its modern architecture, its skyline, its cloudy mountains and rocky islands and its deep natural harbor. Hong Kong is a city that has experienced cultural influences from diverse places. The cruise terminal is located in the Tsim Sha Tsui District, close to tourist attractions such as Avenue of Stars, Clock Tower, Hong Kong Culture Centre, Hong Kong Museum of Art and Hong Kong Space Museum.
Ha Long Bay (also "Halong Bay") is located in northern Vietnam, east of Hanoi. The emerald waters of the bay are dotted with tiny islands with lush vegetation. Towering limestone pillars rise from the sea. This mystical seascape has given the city its name which means “'where the dragon descends into the sea”. This breathtaking scenery has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and makes Ha Long Bay the most outstanding attraction in Vietnam.
Da Nang is the biggest city on the South Central Coast of Vietnam and one of the biggest and most important port cities in Vietnam. The city’s port is an easily accessible and well-sheltered one. Da Nang has spectacular scenery and amazing beaches. There are many attractions like the Cham Museum which is home to 300 Cham sculptures, the Da Nang Cathedral and the Dragon Bridge, a stunning, golden-hued bridge that spouts fire and water from the dragon's head, located near the Han River's eastern bank.
Sihanoukville formerly known as Kompong Som is a seaside town in Cambodia, located at the tip of an elevated peninsula in the country's south-west at the Gulf of Thailand. It is Cambodia’s premier beach destination. The peninsula is ringed by pretty white-sand beaches and Ochheuteal beach also known as Serendipity, is Sihanoukville’s most popular one. Offshore there are many attractive islands, which are really worth visiting.
On 1 April 1990 the government upgraded tambon Ko kood together with tambon Ko Mak to a minor district.The Thai government on 15 May 2007 upgraded all 81 minor districts to full districts. With publication in the Royal Gazette on 24 August the upgrade became official.
As local government entities, the two tambon administrative organizations (TAO) were created in 2003 and 2004 respectively. The Tambon Council Ko kood was upgraded to a TAO in 2003 and Ko Mak in 2004. Ko kood is a major island ringed by seaside villages and coconut plantations. It is about 60 minutes from the mainland by speedboat.
