Just a few minutes drive outside the city is unspoilt countryside where you can encounter a cross-section of Iceland’s natural wonders, geology and history. Tours outside the city give you an idea of the many contrasts of Iceland’s natural beauty from lush valleys to barren higlands, from thunderous waterfalls to silent, mystical glaciers, from lava fields to sandy coastlines, from hotsprings to geothermal spas. If you have the opportunity, don't miss a dip in the pleasant waters of the Blue Lagoon.
