Reykjavik, the capital city of Iceland is noted for its abundant parks, brightly colored houses, steaming thermal pools and an incredibly vibrant music scene. The port of Ísafjörður is the largest of all harbours located in the Westfjords region of Iceland, located in the Skutulsfjörður. It is also the country's third busiest port of call for cruise ships which make a dramatic journey up the Ísafjarðardjúp Bay. This natural harbour is a perfect jumping-off place for hiking, biking and kayaking. Close to the cruise quays is the Maritime Museum, located in one of the oldest houses in Ísafjörður, which traces the life and history of the settlement with a fascinating array of fishing gear and variety of boats. You will also see the oldest group of houses in Iceland, merchant properties dating back to the 18th century.

Iceland's second-largest city offers a picturesque harbor as well as numerous artists' workshops and galleries. The town of Akureyri is the administrative, transportation and commercial centre of north Iceland, an important port and fishing centre. It lies at the head of the 60km long Eyjafjörður, the longest fjord in Iceland. You can visit the northernmost botanical garden and golf course in the world, interesting museums and shops, churches and the Botanical Gardens. Akureyri has a robust cultural scene, with several bars and reputable restaurants. Explore the lunar landscape near Lake Myvatn, marveling at its tumultuous volcanic crater lake, boiling mud pools and steaming earth. 

Vopnafjörður is a village and municipality in Northeast Iceland, standing on a peninsula in the middle of a mountainous bay by the same name. The main industries of Vopnafjörður are fish processing, agriculture and tourism and other services. Some of the main sights are Bustarfell, folk museum, Gljúfursárfoss, waterfall on Vopnafjörður's southern coast, Highland farms, the setting that inspired Nobel Prize-winning author Halldór Laxness' novel Independent People, Ljótsstaðir, childhood home of Gunnar Gunnarsson, Múlastofa, a museum about the lives and art of Vopnafjörður-born musicians and playwrights Jón Múli Árnason (is) and Jónas Árnason

Kirkwall is the biggest town and capital of the Orkney Islands, off the coast of northern mainland Scotland. At the heart of the town stands St. Magnus Cathedral, the finest medieval building in the north of Scotland, next to it the ruins of the former Bishop's Palace and Earl's Palace. The town has two museums, the larger being Tankerness House Museum, which contains items of local historical interest within one of Scotland's best-preserved sixteenth century town-houses and the Orkney Wireless Museum, dealing with the history of radio and recorded sound. During your visit, you will also notice many 17th-18th-century houses in the local vernacular style. Kirkwall is a bustling market town, a lively centre for shopping and eating out.

Visible for miles from sea, the White Cliffs of Dover are an instantly recognizable symbol of England. These white cliffs face the European continent at the narrowest part of the English Channel and have long been a semaphore of welcome and farewell. From its founding by Rome more than 2 millennia ago, the city has become a global center of almost everything: history, theater, art, architecture, literature, sports, business, fashion, and rock and roll. Cruise visitors can explore 13th century Dover Castle which dominates the harbour and journey into London, Britain's ever-fascinating capital.
