Visit the Hawaiian capital and its signature beach, Waikiki. Of you decide to travel inland, along the furrowed lower reaches of Mauna Kea, you will see Kolekole stream, which plunges 442 feet over a cliff at Akaka Falls. Closer in to town you can see Rainbow Falls, an 80-foot drop or take a short drive down the road to Kilauea, that fiery rent in the side of Mauna Loa.
