Kristiansund, the city of flowers and culture, is the capital of Southern Norway, located between the metropolises of Stavanger and Oslo. Skagen is the northenmost point in Denmark, offering fascinating nature, 65 km long, white, sandy beaches backed by dunes, authentic danish and scandinavian culture. Several cruisers dock at the harbour every year and ”Grenen” - the scenic end point of the dunes where two beaches and the two parts of the North Sea, the Kattegat and the Skagerrak, meet, is passed by more than 100.000 ships annually.The light in the area has long attracted artists and the results of the area’s inspiration can be seen in the Skagen Museum and in local shops filled with pottery and glassware. Among the highlights of the area, are the Lighthouse that dates back in 1850, St Laurence Tilsandede kirke, the Natural History Museum and the Old Town Gammel Skagen, which offers a dramatic sunset viewpoint.
