Don't miss a mouthwatering experience: fresh shrimps, al mojo de ajo (with garlic) or in the shell with a tangy squeeze of lime. You can also visit Acuario Mazatlan, with more than 200 sea species, or go up El Faro, the 2nd - after Gibraltar- tallest Lighthouse in the world and enjoy spectacular views of the Pearl of The Pacific!

Squeezed into the thin space between Banderas Bay and the verdant folds of the Sierra Madre, Puerto Vallarta might no longer be the well-kept secret of the artists, writers and Hollywood stars who first "discovered" it in the 1960s, however, it still retains the essence of the fishing village it once was.

The Old Town, Viejo Vallarta, is a mix of red-tiled buildings, cobbled streets, chic shops and busy open markets. During your visit, don't miss a walk at Gringo Gulch- known as the most romantic spot in the world- a swim at Mismaloya Beach and Conchas Chinasand for extra doses of adrenaline, choose hiking into the rugged canyons and luxuriant jungles of the mountains.

Our ship reaches the east coast of the Big Island of Hawaii, which is characterised by lush gardens, majestic waterfalls and impressive volcanoes. The ships docks at Hilo, the island's largest port. From here, you can visit Lili'uokalani Gardens, an authentic Japanese garden located on the shore of Kuhio Bay, 30 acres of pagodas, ponds and picnic areas. Of you decide to travel inland, along the furrowed lower reaches of Mauna Kea, you will see Kolekole stream, which plunges 442 feet over a cliff at Akaka Falls. Closer in to town you can see Rainbow Falls, an 80-foot drop or take a short drive down the road to Kilauea, that fiery rent in the side of Mauna Loa.

Today we reach the Hawaiian island of Maui and its beautiful town of Kahului, from which we have the chance to visit majestic natural wonders, past fields of swaying sugar cane. You can take a tour to Iao Valley State Monument, a scenic viewpoint of Kuka‘emoku ('Iao Needle), an erosional feature which abruptly rises 1200 feet from the valley and is dedicated to the god of the ocean, or drive the scenic road that winds its way up Haleakala Crater, known as the House of the Sun, to enjoy spellbinding views.

Once the playground of Hawaii's royalty, the sunny Kona in the Big Island of Hawaii's lava-lined western coast, is synonymous with the premium quality coffee that grows on the slopes of dormant Hualalai. Take a trip back in time and discover some of Hawaii's ancient history, at the Puako Petroglyph Archaeological Reserve, take a Kona Coffee Tasting Tour, enjoy the mild waters of the Kona/ Kohola coast, do some wildlife-watching at Kahalu Beach Park.
