Singapore is an island country in Southeast Asia. It lies just one degree north of the equator, at the southernmost tip of continental Asia and peninsular Malaysia. Phuket is one of the southern provinces of Thailand, located off the west coast of Thailand in the Andaman Sea. It consists of the island of Phuket, the country's largest island, and another 32 smaller islands off its coast. Phuket Island is a very popular tourist destination and it is known as the ‘pearl of the Andaman’. Colombo is the commercial capital and major port of Sri Lanka. Mormugao is the main port of Goa, located at the tip of a peninsula in the Arabian Sea. Mumbai, also known as Bombay, is the capital city of the Indian state of Maharashtra, located on the west coast of India.
