It is the largest natural island in the United Arab Emirates and was a retreat for Sheikh Zayed, ruler of Abu Dhabi. Sir Bani Yas is home to Arabia's largest wildlife reserve. The huge white Sheikh Zhayed mosque with its gleaming marbles and mesmerizing crystal chandeliers and the multi-media Qasr al Hosn museum are worth visiting.
