Semarang is a city on the north coast of the island of Java, Indonesia. It is the capital and largest city of Central Java. Semarang has its own charm with Dutch colonial architecture and strong Chinese influences that can be seen in the temples and city houses. It is worth visiting the temple at Borobudur, one of the greatest manmade wonders of the world that lies in the Kedu Plain. This Buddhist temple lay covered in volcanic ash for nearly a millennium until it was rediscovered in 1814.

Koh Samui is Thailand's second-largest island, located south of Bangkok in the Gulf of Thailand. It is the most significant island in the Chumphon Archipelago and is surrounded by approximately sixty other islands.
