Skagen is the northenmost point in Denmark, offering fascinating nature, 65 km long, white, sandy beaches backed by dunes, authentic danish and scandinavian culture. Several cruisers dock at the harbour every year and ”Grenen” - the scenic end point of the dunes where two beaches and the two parts of the North Sea, the Kattegat and the Skagerrak, meet, is passed by more than 100.000 ships annually.The light in the area has long attracted artists and the results of the area’s inspiration can be seen in the Skagen Museum and in local shops filled with pottery and glassware. Among the highlights of the area, are the Lighthouse that dates back in 1850, St Laurence Tilsandede kirke, the Natural History Museum and the Old Town Gammel Skagen, which offers a dramatic sunset viewpoint.
Ha Long Bay (also "Halong Bay") is located in northern Vietnam, east of Hanoi. The emerald waters of the bay are dotted with tiny islands with lush vegetation. Towering limestone pillars rise from the sea. This mystical seascape has given the city its name which means “'where the dragon descends into the sea”. This breathtaking scenery has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and makes Ha Long Bay the most outstanding attraction in Vietnam.
