Brisbane is the capital and most populous city in the Australian state of Queensland. It is one of the oldest cities in Australia, named after the Brisbane River on which it is located. The city is among the most popular tourist destinations in Australia. Mystery Island is a tiny islet on the southern tip of the Vanuatu archipelago. Nouméa is situated on a peninsula protected by coral reefs in the south of New Caledonia's main island, Grande Terre. The city’s harbor serves as the chief port for New Caledonia.
