Disney Cruise Line

Dreaming of a magical voyage across land and sea? Or cruising to exotic island retreats? Just make a wish and Disney will make it come true. On a Disney Cruise Line vacation, adults find excitement and indulgence. Children have the time of their lives. Families unite. And all make memories to last a lifetime. There is something special for everyone who boards a grand Disney cruise ship.

Only the dream makers at Disney could create a vacation so fantastic that it takes both land and sea to contain it. From the heights of fantasy and adventure at Walt Disney World Resort to the heart of paradise cruising aboard the Disney Magic, Disney Wonder or the new Disney Dream, a Disney Cruise is a voyage to spark the imagination of first-time cruisers and seasoned sailors alike.

Ships

The Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder are two of the most imaginative vessels afloat, and are as classic as the greatest ocean liners of years gone by. These ships have dazzling entertainment for all ages; delicious dining experiences day and night; and staterooms that are among the largest at sea. With separate activity areas for adults, teens, and kids, Disney Cruises has something wonderful onboard just for you. The Disney Dream and the Disney Fantasy are the other majestic ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. Boasting 14 towering decks and including 1,250 staterooms, they have the capacity to comfortably accommodate 4,000 passengers. As can be expected from Disney, the cruise liners were specially designed with families in mind, combining sleek style and convenient facilities with splashes of magic and cruise industry firsts like the splashtacular AquaDuck, the very first water coaster at sea.

Accommodations

The staterooms on a Disney Cruise Ship offer surprising appointments and spacious settings that provide more than a place to stay - they provide personal space as well. In every category, from Deluxe Family Staterooms to Standard Inside Staterooms, every detail has been considered to give you the utmost comfort and convenience in a floating home away from home. Each is complete with lots of storage space, a safe and other amenities. In fact, most even offer a bath and a half. On each Disney ship, staterooms offer more space than you'd find on most other cruise ships. Most comfortably accommodate at least three people - Deluxe Family Staterooms with Verandahs accommodate up to five. An incredible 73% of accommodations are outside staterooms with spectacular ocean vistas and of these, 44% have private verandahs. And because all accommodations are beautifully furnished with nautical fittings, natural woods and imported files, you enjoy a feeling that is rare on many ships - you actually enjoy being in your stateroom.

Dinning

Imagine enjoying a totally different dining experience at uniquely themed restaurants. Parrot Cay delivers a taste of the islands with a Caribbean beat. Fine food teams up with classic Disney animation at Animator's Palate. On the Disney Magic, Lumire's provides an elegant dining experience. On the Disney Wonder, it's under-the-sea-food at Triton's. One thing doesn't change - your personal wait staff goes with you as you travel from one innovative dining experience to another, so you are assured night after night of impeccable Disney service. A reservation at romantic Palo guarantees unsurpassed cuisine with a 270 degree ocean view. Taking its name from the poles that line the canals of Venice, Palo is an elegant, yet relaxed setting exclusively for adults. Here you'll dine on Northern Italian cuisine that can be enjoyed as appetizers or as main courses. Romantic vistas are complemented by an open kitchen, espresso bar and wine cellar for a truly delightful meal with not a highchair in sight.

Kids & Teens

Kids and Teens will delight in specially created programs and activities that let them play with others their own age. From 9 am to midnight, it's hands-on fun for four distinct age groups. For moms and dads, this means flexibility to be together when they want. For teens ages 13-17, it means having independence to chart your own course. And your kids will be taken care of in true Disney style with 3- to 12-year-olds receiving attention and supervision from a large staff of fun-loving Disney counselors. For an additional charge, children under 3 can receive the special attention of caregivers at the Flounder's Reef Nursery, a whimsical soft play area that's open for select hours every day. Just be sure to book your child's nursery stay early, because space is limited. If your kids are 12 or under, you'll be given a pager when you drop them off, so you're always just a beep away. It's a level of care and thoughtfulness that will make this vacation one of the best you've ever taken.

Onboard Activities & Entertainment

It begins the moment you step aboard. A little music. A little sunshine. And a whole lot of fun. Before you know it your toes are tapping and you're dancing on deck during the Sail Away Celebration. Leave it to the world's greatest entertainers to bring you the world's greatest entertainment. The Walt Disney Theatre offers a magnificent tribute to the grand theatrical palaces of yesteryear, with live original Disney Musical stage productions that come to life with all the style of Broadway itself. You'll also find classic family entertainment, including fun-filled game shows. Day and night you'll discover enchanting entertainment for all to enjoy. On some days, families can get fit with Goofy right on deck. Each evening the Studio Sea family nightclub is bright with excitement for all ages. One night it's karaoke. On another, it's hilarious game shows like Mickey Mania, where you can test your knowledge of all things Disney. Here, the dance floor's open, the music's groovin' and everybody's guaranteed a good time. Non-stop sports action is the name of the game at ESPN Skybox. Movie buffs can enjoy new releases and Disney classics at the Buena Vista Theatre. Or go to the Internet Cafe for access to the cyber world while you're at sea. The Promenade Lounge serenades you with live pop music and your favorite libation. And Studio Sea is a nightspot featuring games and music the whole family will enjoy. When the sun goes down, adults head for Beat Street on the Disney Magic, and Route 66 on the Disney Wonder. From an intimate piano bar to a Top 40-dance club, or a pub filled with sing-along laughs, the action never stops on the high seas.

Swimming Pools
There are multiple guest pools on board each ship. The largest invites families to play together. Another is a quiet getaway exclusively for those over 18. And finally, the whimsical Mickey's Pool is reserved just for the little ones.

Vista Spa and Salon
Retreat to the adult-exclusive area of the ship where you'll find the Vista Spa and Salon, a pampering palace where exotic spa therapies selected from all over the world await. Before your special dinner evening, treat your hair to a session at the salon with internationally trained stylists. Try a sophisticated up style or add more warmth and vibrancy with highlights. You can even have a personal trainer help you get your sea legs in shape with a stop at the state-of-the-art gym.

Castaway Cay
For kids and teens, it's Never Land. For adults, it's Shangri-La. As you step off the ship directly into paradise at Disney's Castaway Cay, you'll know you've arrived in a magical place. Here, the ships dock right at the island, allowing you to walk directly ashore into an oasis of fun and relaxation. Enjoy the clear, turquoise waters on your choice of separate white-sand beaches: one for families and kids, and Serenity Bay, a secluded each for adults only. Grab a bike or volleyball. Go for a stroll or explore the aquatic playground. Take a swim, snorkel in the shimmering lagoon, go sailing or paddle a sea kayak. Enjoy a bountiful barbecue lunch, a midday snooze, or head over the cabanas for an open-air massage. Spend time with the kids or have them join in activities at Scuttles Cove while you cool off at the bar.
