Muara is a town in the Brunei and Muara  district, Brunei. It contains the country's only deep-water port. Muara is the Malay word for estuary. Muara Town or Pekan Muara is located in Mukim Serasa and is located on the easternmost tip of West Brunei. It lends its name to the district which it is in, the Brunei-Muara district. To the North is the South China Sea, to the south the Brunei Bay and across the bay, Pulau Muara Besar. To the east, across a man-made channel is the remains of Tanjung Pelumpong (Cape Pelumpong), now an island. To the west is the rest of the Brunei-Muara district. Serasa lies to the south-west of Muara. The main attraction of Pekan Muara is Muara beach (Pantai Muara in Malay) along South China Sea. The beach is about a mile long and consists of clear white sand. Amenities here include a well-equipped picnic area, a children’s playground, changing and toilet facilities, as well as weekend food and drink stalls.

Kota Kinabalu is the capital of the state of Sabah, a mountainous area with lush tropical rainforests, in the eastern part of North Borneo in Malaysia. Kota Kinabalu is located on the northwest coast of Borneo facing the South China Sea. There are six islands off the coast of the city. Kota Kinabalu is a popular gateway for those visiting Sabah and Borneo. Visit the Kinabalu Park which is listed as a UNESCO Heritage Site and is home to a diverse wildlife, a lush rainforest and several hidden hot springs.

Puerto Princesa is the capital of the island province of Palawan, southwest of Manila, Philippines. Puerto Princesa is a nature lover's paradise. Coron, officially the Municipality of Coron, is a 1st class municipality in the province of Palawan, Philippines. It comprises the eastern half of Busuanga Island, all of Coron Island and about 50 other minor islets stretching as far as Tara Island in the north-east and Canipo Island in the south. All these islands are part of the Calamian Archipelago in Northern Palawan that separates the South China Sea from the Sulu Sea. The main population center of the municipality is composed of Poblacion barangays 1 to 6, where the Municipal Building, the Municipal Legislative Building, and the Judicial Hall of the Municipal Circuit Trial Court are located. Its fiesta is held annually on August 28 in honor of Saint Augustine. It is the commercial capital of the Calamian Islands. The municipality is home to the Coron Island Natural Biotic Area, which is listed in the natural category of the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List.
