Aarhus is the second-largest city in Denmark.

Aarhus is known for its musical history. In the 1950s many jazz clubs sprang up around the city, fuelled by the young population. By the 1960s, the music scene diversified into rock and other genres. In the 1970s and 1980s, Aarhus became the centre for Denmark's rock music fostering many iconic bands such as TV-2 and Gnags. Aarhus is home to the annual eight-day Aarhus International Jazz Festival, the SPoT Festival and the NorthSide Festival.

In 2017, Aarhus has been selected as European Capital of Culture along with Paphos in Cyprus.

Warmunde is a small but popular seaside resort town in northeast Germany, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, over two hours away to the country's capital, Berlin. Visby is the capital and main port of the island of Gotland, Sweden. It is the best preserved medieval town of the entire Nordic Northern Europe. It is also known for its medieval festival, which takes place every August.

Norway 's capital lies at the head of the Oslofjord, surrounded by green – two-thirds of the city is protected forest. It is the biggest city and capital since 1814, hosting the seat of the Government (Stortinget) and the Royal Palace (Slottet). South Queensferry is is an anchorage port, which was named after St. Margaret, the 11th century Queen of Scotland, who instigated the ferry service across the Firth of Forth which ran until the completion of the Forth Road Bridge in 1964. It is the gateway to Edinburgh, the political, commercial and cultural heart of Scotland, a gracious city noted for its superb skyline, its impressive collection of glorious architecture and its beautiful parks. Edinburgh manages to combine both ancient and modern in a uniquely Scottish atmosphere. The Old and New Towns of Edinburgh were listed as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 1995. Stornoway is an idyllic town on the Isle of Lewis, in the Western Isles, an island chain off the west coast of mainland Scotland. Stornoway was founded by Vikings in the early 9th century. Today, it is the main port of the island due to its sheltered location. The Western Isles offer stunning sceneries and have a rich history. It is worth visiting the prehistoric Callanish Stones, a local landmark on the Isle of Lewis, constructed 1000 years before Stonehenge.

The Isle of Skye is the largest and most northerly large island in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland, the 2nd largest island in Scotland and the 4th largest in the UK.
