Hong Kong is an autonomous territory on the southern coast of China at the Pearl River Estuary and the South China Sea. Keelung is a port city near Taipei, the capital of Taiwan. Taiwan is an island nation located off the coast of southwest Okinawa, Japan and north of the Philippines. Taiwan is known for its crowded cities, its steep mountains and its lush forests. The city of Keelung is within walking distance from the pier. Ishigaki, also known as Ishigakijima, is a Japanese island west of Okinawa Hontō and the second-largest island of the Yaeyama Island group. The city is the business and transport center of the archipelago. 

The island and surrounding waters including Mount Omoto and Kabira Bay are protected as part of Iriomote-Ishigaki National Park.

Ishigaki Island, like the rest of Okinawa, is culturally influenced by both Japan and Taiwan due to its location, about 300 km off the north eastern coast of Taiwan.

Naha is the largest city in Okinawa Prefecture. Located in the southern part of Okinawa Main Island, it is the political, economic and transportation center of the prefecture. Kokusai Street is surely the most crowded place in Naha. This approximately 1.6-kilometer-long street is lined with department stores, restaurants, coffee shops, general shops, clothing shops, travel agencies, banks, and of course souvenir shops which account for about 40% of the businesses and facilities on the high traffic street. The Makishi Public Market is located on Main Market Street, running south from a halfway point on Kokusai Street. The market, known as the "kitchen of Naha," is always full of energy and excitement with old women called "Obaa" working actively amongst the brisk talking venders.

Situated at the mouth of the Yodo River on Osaka Bay, Osaka is Japan's third largest city and the metropolis of the Kansai region. During World War II, the city was completely destroyed. Today Osaka is a tangle of bridges, elevated roadways and towering skyscrapers, with Buddhist temples set against modern hotels. The Osaka Castle and its ancient moats, lies in the center of the city surrounded by high-rises. Osaka is known for its stylish malls, its countless restaurants and its vibrant nightlife. The Tempozan Harbor Village, located very close to the city’s center, offers pleasant shopping and entertainment opportunities and houses the Ferris wheel with its neon color.

Yokohama is one of the most visited cities in Japan. It is located on the western coast of Tokyo Bay, directly south of Tokyo. Kōchi is the capital city of Kōchi Prefecture located on the island of Shikoku in Japan.

Kōchi is the main city of the prefecture with over 40% of its population. A symbol of the city is its most famous dish, katsuo tataki, made by lightly searing and seasoning tuna.

Kōchi Castle still exists in its pre-restoration form, and is one of the main tourist attractions. Other places of interest in the city centre are the Obiyamachi shopping arcade, the regular Sunday street markets which are close to a kilometre in length, and Harimaya-bashi, a bridge that featured in a famous Kōchi song about the forbidden love of a Buddhist priest.

Kagoshima lies at the top of the Satsuma Peninsula, on the island of Kyushu, Japan. The city’s port is situated along the coast of Kinko Bay. Kagoshima has mild climate, streets with palm trees and is dominated by Sakura Jima, an active volcano which every now and then dumps fine ash and obscures the sun like fog, creating a mythical and captivating landscape. Nagasaki is located on a large valley on the island of Kyushu in Japan. It is a beautiful harbor city that can be explored on foot. Nagasaki was the second city targeted by an atomic bomb during World War II, after Hiroshima. Fukuoka is situated on the northern shore of the island of Kyushu in Japan and is the most populous city on the island. Its attractions include the Sky Dream Fukuoka, which was one of the world's largest Ferris wheels, located in the city’s western ward and the Fukuoka Castle in the Ohori Park where visitors can see the remaining stone walls and ramparts left after a devastating fire. Other popular attractions include the city’s many museums and festivals that are held throughout the year.

Kobe is located on the southern side of the island of Honshū, on the north shore of Osaka Bay, Japan. The city is perched on a hillside sloping down to the sea and is considered one of Japan's most attractive and cosmopolitan cities.
