For all hotel services on board, a mandatory service charge of 11€ per person per day will be added each day to the guest’s account. Payment will be requested at the end of the cruise and depends on how many days the guest’s cruise lasts. Guests may choose to add the service charge to the total to be paid when booking. The predetermined daily amount depends on the date and the destination of the cruise.
- Prices are per person in euros (€) for a double cabin.
- A single cabin surcharge of 100% applies to the above prices, in addition to port fees.
- A 30% deposit of the total booking value is required for confirmation, with the balance due 30 days before departure. For World Cruises, the balance must be paid 60 days before departure.
- Bookings made less than 30 days before departure require full payment immediately.
- To complete the booking, in accordance with company policy, you must provide full details of all passengers as stated in their Passport(s)/ID card(s), depending on the selected cruise (Full Name, Travel Document Number, Date and Place of Birth, Issue and Expiry Date, Issuing Authority).
- In case you travel with your National ID card, it must have been issued within the last 15 years and be of the new type (not handwritten, with Latin characters).
- Additionally, you must provide the contact details (Full Name and Mobile Phone) of an Emergency Contact (relative or friend).
- If you are a Costa Member Club member, please provide your membership number to earn points (no additional benefits apply).
- For cruises to Western Mediterranean ports or the Norwegian Fjords, you may travel with a new-type ID card with Latin characters. Please check with us regarding the cruise you are interested in.
- To participate in the cruise, you must have a valid passport (valid for at least 6 months after the end of the cruise) or an ID with Latin characters, depending on the chosen itinerary.
- Children without a police ID traveling with both parents require a valid passport.
- Children with a police ID traveling with both parents can travel normally (if a valid passport is not required for the selected cruise).
- Children traveling with only one parent must have the written consent of the other parent, in addition to the required documents.

Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, on the southwest of the country, has been the main gateway for the rest of the planet for more than 19 centuries. Ships captained by Portuguese explorers like Bartolomeu Dias, Vasco da Gama and Ferdinand Magellan, skittered across the globe, hauling treasure home and making Lisbon a global capital. Draped across seven hills, Lisbon was once the center of a vast maritime empire that stretched from the west coast of Africa to the Spice Islands of the East Indies, until 1755, when a violent earthquake destroyed two-thirds of the city, leaving intact only the Alfama, the old Moorish quarter. Today, Lisbon is a stately city of Neoclassical buildings and wide plazas. Eternally linked to the sea, Lisbon's magnificent harbor is spanned by the longest suspension bridge in Europe. Cadiz is a city and port in southwestern Spain, the oldest continuously-inhabited city in Spain and one of the oldest in southwestern Europe. During the Age of Exploration, the city experienced a renaissance. Christopher Columbus sailed from Cádiz on his second and fourth voyages and the city later became the home port of the Spanish treasure fleet.
Cadiz is the gateway to Seville, capital of Andalucia, which lies on the mighty Guadalquivir at a distance of 120 kms. Taking a tour to Seville, will give you a change to marvel the Alcazar, a grand 14th Century Moorish palace, the Seville Cathedral and the Archivo de Indias, all UNESCO World Heritage sites, built in the Mudejar style, and also, to walk the narrow lanes of the Jewish
Quarter, the expanse of the Plaza de Espana, or the halls of the Museo de Bellas Artes.
Barcelona is one of the world's greatest treasures, a global capital of commerce, fashion, culture and sunshine. Marseille is the largest port on the Mediterranean, France's second largest city and a virtual melting pot of peoples and cultures. It is a unique city with a feel and culture all its own. It is also a place of striking contrasts, from the fishing boats of the picturesque Vieux Port to the modern Canebiere. Dominating the harbor is the infamous Chateau d'If, the rocky prison from which Alexandre Dumas' "Count of Monte Cristo" escaped. If you have time, explore the countryside around Arles and Avignon, immortalized in the canvases of Van Gogh, Cezanne, Matisse and Picasso, try the renowned bouillabaisse or tour the lovely towns and vineyards of Provence.
Savona is a seaport in the northern Italian region of Liguria, on the Mediterranean Sea. Savona is the home port of Costa Cruises for the cruises to East and West Mediterranean, the Canary Islands etc. It has a large, modern cruise terminal, the Palacroisière, which provides all the facilities for its passengers. Large cruise ships dock next to the marina, which is located in the historic center of the city. Most sights are within walking distance of your cruise ship, through a pedestrian bridge near the marina. One of the most important inhabitants of Savona was the navigator Christopher Columbus, whose house, a cottage, is situated in the Savona hills. Highlights are the Cattedrale di Santa Maria (17th c.), located in the heart of the old town, the Priamar palace (16th c.), a reinforced fort just outside the port, the symbol of the town Brandale tower (12th c.), and the main tower (Tower Quarda) of the city Leon Pancaldo tower (14th c.) at the entrance of the old harbor. On the old markets, you will find souvenirs and local products.
