Service Charge
For all hotel services on board, a mandatory service charge of 11€ per person per day will be added each day to the guest’s account. Payment will be requested at the end of the cruise and depends on how many days the guest’s cruise lasts. Guests may choose to add the service charge to the total to be paid when booking. The predetermined daily amount depends on the date and the destination of the cruise.
 
The service charge rates to guests over the age of 14. There is no service charge on any cruise for children under the age of 4. Children between the ages of 4 and 14 will be charged 50% of the above rate.
 GENERAL NOTES

  • Prices are per person in euros (€) for a double cabin.
  • A single cabin surcharge of 100% applies to the above prices, in addition to port fees.
  • A 30% deposit of the total booking value is required for confirmation, with the balance due 30 days before departure. For World Cruises, the balance must be paid 60 days before departure.
  • Bookings made less than 30 days before departure require full payment immediately.
  • To complete the booking, in accordance with company policy, you must provide full details of all passengers as stated in their Passport(s)/ID card(s), depending on the selected cruise (Full Name, Travel Document Number, Date and Place of Birth, Issue and Expiry Date, Issuing Authority).
  • In case you travel with your National ID card, it must have been issued within the last 15 years and be of the new type (not handwritten, with Latin characters). 
  • Additionally, you must provide the contact details (Full Name and Mobile Phone) of an Emergency Contact (relative or friend).
  • If you are a Costa Member Club member, please provide your membership number to earn points (no additional benefits apply).
  • For cruises to Western Mediterranean ports or the Norwegian Fjords, you may travel with a new-type ID card with Latin characters. Please check with us regarding the cruise you are interested in.
  • To participate in the cruise, you must have a valid passport (valid for at least 6 months after the end of the cruise) or an ID with Latin characters, depending on the chosen itinerary.
  • Children without a police ID traveling with both parents require a valid passport.
  • Children with a police ID traveling with both parents can travel normally (if a valid passport is not required for the selected cruise).
  • Children traveling with only one parent must have the written consent of the other parent, in addition to the required documents.
  • Children traveling with other relatives must have written consent from both parents, along with the required documents.
  • The prices of airfare and cruises are not fixed; they are subject to availability and occupancy of flights and cruise ships.
  • Booking early ensures availability for the cruise and cabin category of your choice, as well as airline seats at competitive prices.

For all cruises (except World Cruises) 
  • 60 days or more before departure: €100 per person handling fee
  • 59-30 days before departure: 20% cancellation fee of the total amount
  • 29-15 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee of the total amount
  • 14-08 days before departure: 75% cancellation fee of the total amount
  • 07-0 days before departure: 100% cancellation fee of the total amount

For Last Minute Offer Cancellations:
  • Special offer prices are non-refundable.
  • In case of cancellation, 100% of the total cruise value will be charged.

For World Cruises and Segments
  • 270 days or more before departure: €100 per person handling fee
  • 269-90 days before departure: 15% cancellation fee of the total amount
  • 89-30 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee of the total amount
  • 29-10 days before departure: 75% cancellation fee of the total amount
  • 09-0 days before departure: 100% cancellation fee of the total amount

Please note that from July 21, 2025, the Greek Government has imposed a new visitor fee.
This mandatory fee applies to all visitors, regardless of age and nationality (including infants), who disembark at Greek ports — whether participating in an organized excursion or disembarking independently — including those who permanently disembark.
Below is the current summary of fees based on the latest available update. In case of any changes to these measures, you will be informed by your travel agent.

  • November 1, 2025 – March 31, 2026:
    €4 per visitor per port for Mykonos and Santorini
    €1 per visitor for all other Greek ports
  • April 1, 2026 – May 31, 2026:
    €12 per visitor per port for Mykonos and Santorini
    €3 per visitor for all other Greek ports
  • June 1, 2026 – September 30, 2026:
    €20 per visitor per port for Mykonos and Santorini
    €5 per visitor for all other Greek ports
  • October 1, 2026 – October 31, 2026:
    €12 per visitor per port for Mykonos and Santorini
    €3 per visitor for all other Greek ports

Please note that this fee will be automatically charged to your onboard account if you disembark in any Greek port. Such fee is set and mandated by the Greek authorities and applies to all cruise lines operating in Greece.  Costa does not determine it and does not retain any portion of it. As requested by the authorities, Costa will collect and transfer the full amount to the government.

Philipsburg is the capital of the Dutch section of the island Saint Maarten, which, geographically 60% percent French and 40% Dutch.

This Caribbean gem lies between clear Caribbean Sea and the Great Salt Pond, on a gentle arc of land with a saltwater lake to the north and a bay to the south.  There is an esplanade running alongside a white sand beach, giving you the opportunity to choose either shopping or sunning. You can do exciting shopping at the duty-free boutiques of Front Street, one of the great shopping avenues of the Caribbean and search the quaint clothes boutiques or browse for duty-free bargains. Outside town, you can choose from one of the island's nearly 40 beaches, such as Mullet Bay, which is one of the nicest.
