When it comes to Venice, pictures speak louder than words. Approaching the floating city, which is concocted from spires and cupolas, you discover a majestic place, undoubtedly the most romantic city in the world. Split, built under the orders of the Roman emperor Diocletian, who lived out his last days after abdicating in AD 305, is located between Venice and the Ionian Islands, on the Dalmatian coast and is one of the most important ports of Croatia. Today, the remarkable residence of the Roman Emperor, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, awaits your discovery. The white limestone palace, part luxurious villa, part military camp, is enclosed by imposing walls and connected by roads linking the eastern Silver Gate with the Iron Gate to the west. Within its premices, you can see an octagonal domed mausoleum, temples and a monumental court accessing the imperial apartments.

Rhodes is an enchanting island that shines green and white, surrounded by the blue waters of the eastern Aegean. It is strewn with small towns and was merely one of the most glorious cities of antiquity, the world- renowned Island of the Knights. The Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, stood more than 100 feet high at the edge of the harbor, before an earthquake toppled it in 226 B.C. Of the statue, nothing remains, but Rhodes Old Town, a World Heritage Site, remains one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Europe and a place of pilgrimage for cruise travelers. Stroll along the medieval streets and the wonderful fortifications, walk along the Street of the Knights and visit the Palace of the Knights.

The seaside resort of Aqaba is located in the far south of Jordan and forms a great base from which to explore various places of interest in the South of the country and the Red Sea. Aqaba is a microcosm of all the good things Jordan has to offer, including a fascinating history with some outstanding sites - the Aqaba Fort (only outside), the Aqaba museum and a 4th c. roman church- , excellent hotels and activities, superb visitor facilities, good shopping and welcoming people. It is an aquatic playground, offering some of the best snorkelling and diving in the world. From Aqaba you can visit Petra, a World Heritage Site and Jordan's cultural treasure. You will be amazed as you pass through the Siq, a deep, twisting sandstone passage that leads you at al Khazneh ("The Treasury"), a monumental Greek-influenced edifice that emerges from the cliff. Among the sights, you will marvel the Street of Facades,the Roman Theater and the Monastery.

Mahé is an idyllic island and the largest one in the Seychelles Archipelago in the Indian Ocean. The island has a rich heritage, a mixture of Indian, Chinese, European and African culture.  This cultural diversity combined with the breathtaking beauty of the island makes Mahé an extremely popular tourist destination. Diego-Suarez, now known as Antsiranana, is a French-style city in the north of Madagascar. The area north of Diego-Suarez is dominated by the Tsaratanana Massif, the highest mountain in the country. The city is located on a magnificent bay with islets just off its shores, beautiful beaches and parks filled with plant and animal life.

La Possession is located on the northwest side of the island of Réunion, a territory of France located in the Indian Ocean, east of Madagascar and southwest of Mauritius. Pointe des Galets is the main port of Réunion. The island offers stunning landscapes with scented vanilla plantations, spice and perfume gardens, lush vegetation and breathtaking volcanic ravines. Visit Circus of Salazie, the remains of an enormous volcanic caldera located very close to La Possession or the Piton de la Fournaise, where you can admire two active volcano craters.  

Durban is the largest city in the South African province of KwaZulu-Natal. Durban stands on the beautiful natural harbor of Port Natal.
