South Queensferry is is an anchorage port, which was named after St. Margaret, the 11th century Queen of Scotland, who instigated the ferry service across the Firth of Forth which ran until the completion of the Forth Road Bridge in 1964. It is the gateway to Edinburgh, the political, commercial and cultural heart of Scotland, a gracious city noted for its superb skyline, its impressive collection of glorious architecture and its beautiful parks. 

Edinburgh manages to combine both ancient and modern in a uniquely Scottish atmosphere. The Old and New Townsof Edinburgh were listed as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 1995. Take a walk along the old town, the city's medieval heart along the Royal Mile, marvel the imposing castle, symbol of the city and the Georgian (late 18th century) New Town and commercial heart of the city and finish your walk tasting local whiskey or beer at one of the traditional pubs which are all around the city.

Stavanger, Norway

The biggest city of Rogaland county is very conveniently located in the south-western corner of Norway and forms the shortcut to the Norwegian fjords. The Stavanger region claims to be the cradle of the Vikings. Having been European Capital of Culture in 2008 has added extra cultural dimensions to “The Petroleum Capital of Norway”, another title that Stavanger holds, as it is considered the center of the oil industry in Norway. Cruise ships dock in the very city center, near the oldest part of the town, so, take a short walk to see the the main square and social hub,  the bronge statue of Nobelist Alexander Kielland (1849-1906), the lovely cathedral and the charming historic area Gamle, with its cobbled pedestrian streets and colorful collection of 18th- and 19th-century wooden structures, Stavanger domkirke (St. Svithun's cathedral) and the Norwegian Petroleum Museum (Norskolje Museum).The best views of Stavanger and the surrounding area are to be had from Vålandshaug hill (85 m).

 GENERAL NOTES: 
  • Prices are per person in euros (€), in a double cabin.
  • Single cabin supplement is 100% on the above prices, plus port charges.
  • To confirm your reservation, a deposit of 30% of the total booking amount is required, with the balance due 30 days before the cruise departure. For World Cruises, payment in full is required 60 days before departure.
  • For bookings made less than 30 days prior to departure, immediate full payment is required.
  • To complete the reservation, and in accordance with company policy, you must provide full details for all passengers exactly as stated in their passport(s)/ID(s), depending on the cruise chosen (Full name, Travel Document Number, Date and Place of Birth, Issue and Expiry Date, Issuing Authority).
  • In case you travel with your National ID card, it must have been issued within the last 15 years and be of the new type (not handwritten, with Latin characters). 
  • You must also provide the contact details (Full name and mobile number) of a person (relative or friend) as an Emergency Contact.
  • If you are a member of the MSC Voyager Club, please send your membership number to earn points (no additional privileges).
  • On some cruises to ports in the Western Mediterranean or the Norwegian Fjords, you may travel with a new-type ID with Latin characters. Ask us for the cruise you are interested in.
  • To participate in the above cruise, it is necessary to have a valid passport (up to 6 months after the end of the cruise) or an ID with Latin characters, depending on the cruise selected.
  • Children without a police-issued ID and traveling with both parents need a valid passport.
  • Children with a police-issued ID traveling with both parents can travel normally (provided a valid passport is not required for the specific cruise).
  • Children traveling with one parent must have written consent from the other parent, in addition to the above documents.
  • Children traveling with other relatives must have written consent from both parents, in addition to the above documents.
  • Prices for air tickets and cruises are not fixed. They are tied to the availability/load of the aircraft and cruise ships.

In case of cancellation, the standard cancellation policy applies:

  • 60 days or more before departure: €50 per person, handling fee
  • 59 – 30 days before departure: 25% cancellation fee of the total amount
  • 29 – 22 days before departure: 40% cancellation fee
  • 21 – 15 days before departure: 60% cancellation fee
  • 14 – 06 days before departure: 80% cancellation fee
  • 05 to 0 days before departure: 100% cancellation fee

CRUISES > 15 NIGHTS:
  • 90 days or more before departure: €50 per person, handling fee
  • 89 – 60 days before departure: 25% cancellation fee
  • 59 – 52 days before departure: 40% cancellation fee
  • 51 – 35 days before departure: 60% cancellation fee
  • 34 – 15 days before departure: 80% cancellation fee
  • 14 to 0 days before departure: 100% cancellation fee

These are special offer prices and are non-refundable and non-cancellable.
In case of cancellation, customers are charged a 100% cancellation fee, i.e., the full value of the cruise.

-For cruises calling at Greece (not included)-
Please note that from  July 21, the Greek Government will introduce a new fee for visitors.
This mandatory fee applies to all cruise guests, regardless of age (including Infants) who go ashore at Greek ports – whether as part of an organized shore excursion or independently – including disembarking guests. 
Below is the current summary of the fees, up to May 31st, 2026: 
  • 21 July 2025 – 30 September 2025: 
    • EUR 20 per guest per port for Mykonos and Santorini 
    • EUR 5 per guest per port for all other Greek ports 
  • 1 October – 31 October 2025 / 1 April 2026 – 31 May 2026: 
    • EUR 12 per guest for Mykonos and Santorini 
    • EUR 3 per guest for all other Greek ports 
  • 1 November 2025 – 31 March 2026: 
    • EUR 4 per guest per port for Mykonos and Santorini 
    • EUR 1 per guest for all other Greek ports 
For your convenience, MSC Cruises will pay this fee directly to the Greek authorities on your behalf. MSC will simply add the fee to your shipboard account the night after each visit to a Greek port. If you choose to stay on board and do not go ashore, the expense will not be charged.
