Flam, Norway

Dalsnibba is one of Geiranger’s main attractions and is a very popular mountain top with visitors to the area. From the Dalsnibba plateau there is a breath-taking view across the most beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site, nestled in the surrounding mountain landscape with Geirangerfjorden right in the middle. The biggest city of Rogaland county is very conveniently located in the south-western corner of Norway and forms the shortcut to the Norwegian fjords. The Stavanger region claims to be the cradle of the Vikings. Having been European Capital of Culture in 2008 has added extra cultural dimensions to “The Petroleum Capital of Norway”, another title that Stavanger holds, as it is considered the center of the oil industry in Norway. Cruise ships dock in the very city center, near the oldest part of the town, so, take a short walk to see the the main square and social hub,  the bronge statue of Nobelist Alexander Kielland (1849-1906), the lovely cathedral and the charming historic area Gamle, with its cobbled pedestrian streets and colorful collection of 18th- and 19th-century wooden structures, Stavanger domkirke (St. Svithun's cathedral) and the Norwegian Petroleum Museum (Norskolje Museum).The best views of Stavanger and the surrounding area are to be had from Vålandshaug hill (85 m).

The Old and New Townsof Edinburgh were listed as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 1995. Take a walk along the old town, the city's medieval heart along the Royal Mile, marvel the imposing castle, symbol of the city and the Georgian (late 18th century) New Town and commercial heart of the city and finish your walk tasting local whiskey or beer at one of the traditional pubs which are all around the city.

Invergordon, United Kingdom

Invergordon is the gateway to Loch Ness and the area of the Highlands known as the "Great Glen". It is a major port of call for cruise liners bringing in excess of 70.000 passengers to the area. Service Charge
For all hotel services on board, a mandatory service charge of 11€ per person per day will be added each day to the guest’s account. Payment will be requested at the end of the cruise and depends on how many days the guest’s cruise lasts. Guests may choose to add the service charge to the total to be paid when booking. The predetermined daily amount depends on the date and the destination of the cruise.
 
The service charge rates to guests over the age of 14. There is no service charge on any cruise for children under the age of 4. Children between the ages of 4 and 14 will be charged 50% of the above rate.
 GENERAL NOTES

  • Prices are per person in euros (€) for a double cabin.
  • A single cabin surcharge of 100% applies to the above prices, in addition to port fees.
  • A 30% deposit of the total booking value is required for confirmation, with the balance due 30 days before departure. For World Cruises, the balance must be paid 60 days before departure.
  • Bookings made less than 30 days before departure require full payment immediately.
  • To complete the booking, in accordance with company policy, you must provide full details of all passengers as stated in their Passport(s)/ID card(s), depending on the selected cruise (Full Name, Travel Document Number, Date and Place of Birth, Issue and Expiry Date, Issuing Authority).
  • In case you travel with your National ID card, it must have been issued within the last 15 years and be of the new type (not handwritten, with Latin characters). 
  • Additionally, you must provide the contact details (Full Name and Mobile Phone) of an Emergency Contact (relative or friend).
  • If you are a Costa Member Club member, please provide your membership number to earn points (no additional benefits apply).
  • For cruises to Western Mediterranean ports or the Norwegian Fjords, you may travel with a new-type ID card with Latin characters. Please check with us regarding the cruise you are interested in.
  • To participate in the cruise, you must have a valid passport (valid for at least 6 months after the end of the cruise) or an ID with Latin characters, depending on the chosen itinerary.
  • Children without a police ID traveling with both parents require a valid passport.
  • Children with a police ID traveling with both parents can travel normally (if a valid passport is not required for the selected cruise).
  • Children traveling with only one parent must have the written consent of the other parent, in addition to the required documents.
  • Children traveling with other relatives must have written consent from both parents, along with the required documents.
  • The prices of airfare and cruises are not fixed; they are subject to availability and occupancy of flights and cruise ships.
  • Booking early ensures availability for the cruise and cabin category of your choice, as well as airline seats at competitive prices.

For all cruises (except World Cruises) 
  • 60 days or more before departure: €100 per person handling fee
  • 59-30 days before departure: 20% cancellation fee of the total amount
  • 29-15 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee of the total amount
  • 14-08 days before departure: 75% cancellation fee of the total amount
  • 07-0 days before departure: 100% cancellation fee of the total amount

For Last Minute Offer Cancellations:
  • Special offer prices are non-refundable.
  • In case of cancellation, 100% of the total cruise value will be charged.

For World Cruises and Segments
  • 270 days or more before departure: €100 per person handling fee
  • 269-90 days before departure: 15% cancellation fee of the total amount
  • 89-30 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee of the total amount
  • 29-10 days before departure: 75% cancellation fee of the total amount
  • 09-0 days before departure: 100% cancellation fee of the total amount
 
-For cruises calling at Greece (not included)-
Please note that from  July 21, the Greek Government will introduce a new fee for visitors.
This mandatory fee applies to all cruise guests, regardless of age (including Infants) who go ashore at Greek ports – whether as part of an organized shore excursion or independently – including disembarking guests. 
Below is the current summary of the fees, up to May 31st, 2026: 
  • 21 July 2025 – 30 September 2025: 
    • EUR 20 per guest per port for Mykonos and Santorini 
    • EUR 5 per guest per port for all other Greek ports 
  • 1 October – 31 October 2025 / 1 April 2026 – 31 May 2026: 
    • EUR 12 per guest for Mykonos and Santorini 
    • EUR 3 per guest for all other Greek ports 
  • 1 November 2025 – 31 March 2026: 
    • EUR 4 per guest per port for Mykonos and Santorini 
    • EUR 1 per guest for all other Greek ports 
Please note that this fee will be automatically charged to your onboard account if you disembark in any Greek port. Such fee is set and mandated by the Greek authorities and applies to all cruise lines operating in Greece.  Costa does not determine it and does not retain any portion of it. As requested by the authorities, Costa will collect and transfer the full amount to the government.
